Here are some of the most common questions asked, about our light installation services:
Q: So, what is the process and how can I find out how much this will cost?
A: Our customers determine their budget; we can help with as much or as little as you choose.
Q: So, are these lights yours, mine, or Scott Anderson’s?
A: If we are selling the lights to you yes, they are yours, you own them, which means that the following year there will be cost savings on the materials.
Q: But what if I don’t want to buy the materials/lighting and would prefer to rent them?
A: Not a problem, we then rent you the necessary lighting. If you are someone who wants to change your decorations every year or even every two years, we recommend you rent your holiday-scapes.
Q: Is there a difference between the lighting you use, and the lighting purchased at Home Depot/Amazon?
A: That’s the best question. Our lights are all commercial grade lights meant to be put up year after year and look great. We have some clients still using the same lighting they purchased almost ten years ago. All our Christmas and Holiday decorations have warranties spanning from two years or more – it will depend on the manufacturer and product.
Q: What if I have my own decorations that I would still like to incorporate with your decor, because I used to be Santa’s Helper before I decided to have someone else hang my decorations?
A: Let us look at your supplies to see if we can incorporate that design element into the décor we are using. It would be our intent to use the materials in our holiday-scape for you. If there are issues with that, we will all communicate to figure something out that keeps you happy for years to come!
Q: I don’t have room for the decorations and don’t want to worry about it breaking or getting lost. What do I do?
A: Not a problem, our elves come and install all your decorations for you and then at the end of the season they come back and pack up your decorations. They box them up, label them and even take photos. They also draw up sketches of the house, this is for the customer who may want the same design the following year. The elves then take all your decorations back to the north pole for the winter and put them away in cold storage for the year (if you do not want to store your decorations yourself – see the question/answer above).
Q: But what if a bulb goes out or all my display goes out, because this will only happen on Christmas Eve.
A: Well, Santa has worked on coming up with answers for this. Santa, Ms. Claus and all the elves can help take care of it. If it is something simple like your GFI popping, we have made videos to show you how to fix it on the spot. Or how to rest you timer, because not everything needs an Elf to stop by – there is also a video on our website to fix this issue. But if it does require that we come and resolve an issue, rest assured our team is trained to identify what is wrong and how to fix it. So, if the issue is as simple as having bulbs go out or something that just doesn’t look right, rest assured we WILL fix it.
Q: My problem is, I don’t have time to schedule the installation with all my other responsibilities and scheduling conflicts. How do I schedule all of this?
A: No problem we have the answer! We use Holiday Christmas planner 2000, this device will help us plan out the installation, problem solving and takedown and storage of your holiday decorations, so you don’t have to. We handle everything from installation to take down!
